Become a pilgrim for a day and walk a Leg (or 2) of the Cape Camino, Cape Town's
pilgrimage route.

See the Cape Peninsula from a different perspective, take a break from your busy holiday, quiet your mind, stretch your legs and slow down.


Two out of the nine Legs available:

1. Wine to Water Leg (chaperone recommended). Constantia to Muizenberg 20 km. Urban setting with culture, history and diverse terrain. Pass through Groot Constantia, 2 Kramats, the community of Westlake, Fynbos thickets, forests, seaside ending.

2. Whale's Tale Labyrinth Leg (self-guided). Muizenberg to Simon's Town 20 km. Coastal walk through the bustling Kalk Bay, along Fish Hoek beach, and to a fynbos Labyrinth sacred space.

On booking, customers will be sent:

1. A video link on how to download the MapMyWalk App with the entire route on it for them to explore.

2. A suggested itinerary for Wine to Water and Whale's Tale Labyrinth Legs with details for chaperones and stamp locations.

3. Collect Camino Passport from Mountain Manor Guesthouse. Arrange a suitable time prior to picking up

3. Personal Information: Cape Camino has the right to the personal information of each pilgrim.
4. Emergency situations: Cape Camino will not be held liable for any accidents, loss of property or injury.
6. Cape Camino has developed a database of restaurants, hospitality accommodation, logistical support, guides, transport services, security services, shops, bars and other businesses (“Service Providers”) which are committed to assisting the pilgrims along the way. The experience that the pilgrim has with these service providers is not the responsibility of Cape Camino.
7. The tailor-made pack allows the Pilgrim access to a network of sacred sites and community projects. No discounts will be offered at sacred sites or community projects.
8. If a purchase has been made for a Camino pack and unfavourable weather conditions occur, it is up to the pilgrim to decide how to move forward. Cape Camino is not liable for any refunds in this case.
9. Child Policy: We suggest no younger than 12 years old to participate in the Cape Camino. On request we can adapt a route to better suit children, i.e. shorter distances.
